Brighton have rejected another Chelsea bid for Moises Caicedo, The Athletic reports. The bid was worth £70 million but Brighton are still holding out for £100 million.
The bid was for the money up front with no add-ons and was given in writing on Monday and rejected.
Before this, Brighton rejected a £60m bid for the midfielder back in June, after which Chelsea focused on player sales before resuming their pursuit.
Caicedo has now joined Brighton on their pre-season tour to the US after taking a flight directly from Ecuador.
The Seagulls are prepared to lose Caicedo this summer but will need his buyers to shell out their asking price.
Caicedo has already broken his silence on the interest from Chelsea and shared his desire to join the Blues. He called Chelsea a historic team and that he wouldn't be able to say no.
