Blessing Nwachukwu-Frank has narrated great reasons people should choose these countries instead of UK, US, and Canada.
Why is everyone only relocating to USA, Canada, UK or Australia? I get it, the language but what if you were like me years ago that couldn't afford those places?
There are other countries that are also good you can go to and make it until you get your dream nation. They will even be happy to have you to balance their so-called diversity ratio. I've made this list before but here are some again:
1. Croatia: their tuition is 700 Euros per year for a bachelor's degree and they have a shortage of Data Analysts, construction workers, etc. They joined Schengen in January.
2. Germany: their bachelor's degree is free but they like you to have up to N7m in your bank account and helps a whole lot if someone who is in Germany signs for you.
3. Portugal
4. Poland
5. Finland
6. Sweden
7. The Caribbeans: especially for medical programs.
8. Even Arab Countries
10. Estonia
There are more but I don't have the list on my mind right now. Let me tell you, polish your English language skills before going, package yourself as an English teacher or Nanny. Not that local champion accent of yours. Come, I teach accent training. It's part of my data entry and tech support class. There's a huge market for English teaching and English Nanny jobs. It is imperative you learn their language, take my tech classes and you will get a tech job that most likely will petition to keep you in that country after school as a pathway to their citizenship. While finding a job, look for freelancing jobs online as the location will make you more attractive than being in Nigeria. Drive Uber, handyman jobs, look for cleaning jobs, etc until you are financially stable.
Their citizenship also carries weight. Most of them have visa waiver agreement for visitation with your dream countries. Stop waiting for America. When it's yours, it's yours. I first lived in Russia then 5 years after, I moved to America for school after facing two visa denials.
Today I'm a citizen. If America hadn't accepted me, I'd have tried somewhere else. It was in Russia, my boss got me a Schengen multiple visa to France and also flew me to Cuba.
Life is all about time, chance, patience, strategy, hard work and most importantly resilience. Also, when you go abroad, work honestly and remember you represent the entire Nigeria. Give us a good reputation so you don't block the road for others.
P.S: this is not a visa advice.
