But despite the extension granted to the players by Guardiola, their holidays are set to be over all too soon as they start to prepare for their pre-season fixtures.
Man City will travel to Japan and South Korea in two weeks, playing Yokohama F Marinos and Bayern Munich in Tokyo, and Atletico Madrid in Seoul.
They will then return to London to contest the Community Shield with Arsenal on August 6.
