Harry Kane has reportedly emerged as incoming Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique's "top priority" signing this summer, with the French outfit ready to tempt Tottenham with a swap proposal.
The England skipper's future has once again become one of the stories of the summer transfer window, although Bayern Munich are the only club so far to have shown concrete interest in trying to make a deal happen.
Kane has so far been the subject of two bids from the Bundesliga giants, with Daniel Levy rejecting an initial £56million bid before Bayern then returned with a £68m follow-up offer.
However, according to French outlet PSG Community, the French side are now entering the race to sign the prolific 29-year-old frontman.
They report that both manager Enrique's and owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi's priority is to make a statement striker signing and are looking to conclude a deal for Kane as quickly as possible.
Khelaifi has reportedly held talks with Kane's representatives and the club are prepared to offer the forward a five-year deal worth around £260,000-a-week.
The outlet adds that Kane's brother and agent, Charlie, has already held talks with Al-Khelaifi in the French capital.
Kane only has a year left on his current deal in north London and Levy has already made it very clear that he will not sell to another Premier League club, following interest from Manchester United.
The report also adds that PSG are willing to offer a player in return to sweeten the deal, with midfielder Fabian Ruiz part of the package.
PSG offer midfield star in Kane package
New Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is known to be on the hunt for another player in his engine room, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg being tipped to join Atletico Madrid.
Ruiz scored three goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for PSG last season having signed from Napoli last summer.
As for PSG, they are on the hunt for another world-class forward as they consider life without Kylian Mbappe.
Reports emerged in L'Equipe that a number of players have complained to Khelaifi over Mbappe's conduct so far this summer, with regards his future.
The forward labelled the club a "divisive" one that "attracts gossip" during an off-season interview.
Al-Khelaifi reportedly shares in the player's frustrations and has set a July 31 deadline for Mbappe to decide whether he will leave PSG this summer or stay at the club.
With Bayern, Real Madrid and Man Utd interested in a move, Tottenham forward Harry Kane has a big call to make this summer.
There are certainly no shortage of takers for the France international, with some suggestions that Arsenal are now lining up a bid for the pacy attacker.
As for Kane, it remains to be seen whether Postecoglou can convince him stay when the dup meet for the first time at the club's training ground this week.
