The president of the Nigerian community in Seychelles, Mathias Adidi has alleged the reason why the government of Seychelles banned Nigerian passport holders visiting the country for holiday purposes.
The country's border security on Sunday confirmed to journalists that Nigerians without work visas were no longer allowed into the country.

"We regret to inform you that your application has been denied, as per immigration regulation, for now we are not accepting any NIGERIAN passport holder for holiday purposes," the screenshot reads.
Speaking about the ban, the president of the Nigerian community, Mathias said that someone in Nigeria is nudging Nigerians to bring drugs to Seychelles.
Sharing photo of Nigerians captured with drugs, Adidi stressed that over Nigerians were nabbed with drugs in the country, adding that this had led to harassment and arrest of other Nigerians everyday in the country.
He wrote: "@OseniRufia, I am Mathias Adidi, the president of the Nigerian community in Seychelles. Please help us inform Nigerians.
