Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, has revealed that Lionel Messi will return to the club soon.
This comes after a date was set for a potential tribute at Camp Nou.
Messi snubbed the opportunity to return to Barca this summer after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ran out.
Instead, the Argentina captain will be plying his trade in the Major Soccer League (MLS) with Inter Miami.
However, there are plans to bring Messi back to Barcelona on the opening day of the Spotify Camp Nou.
"Barca will always be his home. I met with them to make a tribute.
"The opening day of the Spotify Camp Nou would be an excellent date," Laporta told TV3 about Messi.
