Following the confirmation of Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci as the Guinness World Record holder for her cook-a-thon, another chef from Kenya, Maliha Mohammed, has embarked on a similar challenge.
Maliha took to her Instagram page on Friday, June 16, to announce the commencement of her cooking marathon, which will continue until Sunday, June 18.
Having previously cooked for 72 hours in 2018, the 40-year-old Kenyan chef expressed her desire to break two Guinness World Records, including the one held by Hilda Baci.
Maliha shared that she has already secured a sponsor for the event and encouraged people to support her by tuning into her live stream on Instagram.
"Hellooooo Kenya and the world. Tomorrow will be cooking non stop for 55hours and making 100 recipes.
Leezzzzz gooooo. Tudor mombasa from Friday 10am to Sunday 5pm. This is a 2ND TRIAL TRAINING. comment below which live should I go with for 55hours !!". She wrote on Thursday.
Maliha, in a video, disclosed that the cooking marathon will take place in Tudor, Mombasa, lasting for 55 hours, during which she plans to prepare 100 recipes.
On Friday, she provided an update, stating, "We just started 2hrs30min ago trial training cooking.
