Outgoing interim boss of Chelsea, Frank Lampard has said he will take a break after his short-term deal with the club expires.
Lampard was given the job on a temporary basis after Graham Potter was sacked.
But the Blues struggled under the ex-England midfielder and finished in 12th place, closer to the relegation zone than the Champions League places.
"I'll have a break, it has been quite intense. I wasn't in that mode, I had to get in the mode.
"I've given it my all, we'll see what happens," Lampard, who was sacked at Everton earlier in the season, said.
Chelsea finished the campaign with 44 points, their lowest tally since 1987-88 when they were relegated.
