Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has made it clear that he would leave the pitch along with Vinicius Junior if the Brazilian forward receives racist abuse.
During Real Madrid's 1-0 defeat away to Valencia on Sunday, the Brazilian attacker was the subject of constant racist slurs.
The match official had to pause the game in one instance as the South American, along with other Real Madrid players, went to point out a particular fan who was hurling racist abuse at the player.
Courtois lambasted the fans for their actions via France 24, saying.
"If Vini wants to keep playing, we keep playing, but if Vinicius Jr says he's leaving, I'm leaving the pitch with him, because we cannot tolerate these things."
The Real Madrid goal tender said there were racist slurs aimed at Vinicius earlier in the game.
"[I feel] bad because there was an act of racism," he added.
