Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified Manchester City's Bernardo Silva as the player to sign as a possible replacement for forward Lionel Messi should the Argentine eventually leave the club this summer, as reported by Le Parisien.
Messi, whose future will be decided at the end of the season, is looking increasingly likely to leave PSG.
The 35-year-old is yet to sign a new deal with the Parisians.
As a result, PSG's sporting adviser, Luís Campos, considers Silva his ideal replacement.
Silva is an undisputed starter for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, with whom he could win a treble (Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League) this year.
The Portugal international can also play as a winger and a midfielder and he knows the French Ligue 1 well.
