'Idan doesn't break' - Tinubu hails chef on mission to break Guinness World Record

The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed his support for Hilda Bassey Effiong, better known as Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef on a mission to break the Guinness World Record for cooking.

The chef has been getting massive support, especially from Nigerians, since she started her cooking project "Cook-a-thon".

Thousands flooded her Instagram live session comment section to give her thumbs up and words of encouragement.

Tinubu also joined via the comment section, describing her as 'idan', meaning the "real deal."

He urged her not to break but instead to break the record she is attempting to break.

Tinubu wrote,

"IDAN doesn't break, she breaks records. We are rooting for you Hilda."

The current holder of the title Hilda seeks to break is an Indian chef Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019.

She is attempting to cook for 96 hours, using extra 9 hours to break the world record as the first human on earth to spend such an amount of time cooking.
