Former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, will not be making a return to Los Blancos for a third time as manager this summer.
Zidane has been out of work since leaving Los Blancos two seasons ago.
He was heavily touted to take over the France job, but Didier Deschamps has retained the role.
The Frenchman has been linked with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Olympique Marseille.
However, according to Marca, Real Madrid's current manager Carlo Ancelotti appears to be remaining at Santiago Bernabeu, as Zidane is aware that that job will not be coming his way this summer.
The report added that Real Madrid has no intention of re-hiring Zidane as the club President Florentino Perez is reportedly happy with Ancelotti and is set to keep faith in the Italian for the 202320-24 season.
Zidane will have to look elsewhere if he wants to return to management this summer.
Meanwhile, Brazil has openly acknowledged that Ancelotti is their top choice for this summer but the Italian himself has repeatedly said he wants to see out his contract at Real Madrid until 2024 unless Perez decides to sack him.
