EPL: Chelsea's owners hold 'very positive' talks with next manager

Chelsea has now held talks with recently sacked Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann over becoming their next manager.

According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Todd Boehly and co held very positive talks with the German.

The report added that a fast decision is not expected from all parties.

The Blues do not want to rush the appointment of their next manager after the sack of Graham Potter a couple of weeks ago.

For this reason, the club's owners have placed former player and manager Frank Lampard in charge until the end of the season.

But Sky Germany claimed Nagelsmann "wants to be 100 per cent convinced by the project" before he takes his next job following his exit as Bayern Munich's head coach.
