Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu, on Wednesday donated N100M to traders whose goods were burnt in Akere Mart.
The donation was given to the traders Allied Dealers Association, AMPADA, in the Ajegunle area of the state on March 15th.
The governor also proceeded to lay the foundation for a new two-story budling to be erected. It will be recalled that fire gutted Akere AMPADA, Apapa, Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state, destroying goods and properties worth millions of naira at Akere Auto Spare Part Market Kirikiri Road, Olodi, Apapa area of the state.
Unfortunately, it was learned that a taxi driver died in the incident, which affected over 90 spare part shops.
