Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly agreed to sign a new four-and-a-half year contract at Arsenal.
The 21-year-old has emerged as a key player for the Gunners this season, with the north London side sitting top of the Premier League table.
Martinelli signed for Arsenal from Brazilian side Ituano in the summer of 2019 and scored ten goals in his debut season.
His contract at the club was due to expire next summer, but he is set to put pen to paper on a new deal.
The Athletic are reporting that his new contract will last until 2027.
Arsenal did have the option to extend his current deal by a further two years next summer.
But Martinelli has now agreed to extend his stay at the Premier League leaders on new terms, with the draft being finalised.
The winger has featured 110 times across all competitions for Arsenal since his arrival in 2019.
Martinelli has appeared 26 times this campaign scoring seven goals and assisting a further three.
He is part of an Arsenal team who have emerged as one of the favourites to win this season's title.
Mikel Arteta's side are currently five points clear of reigning champions Manchester City.
Arsenal recently extended Bukayo Saka's contract until 2024 as they look to offer another new long-term deal to one of their youngsters.
