A Canada-based Nigerian woman has claimed that she was served quit notice by her Canadian landlord over the aroma of her soup.
Speaking in a story time video shared on TikTok, the woman said she was cooking a Yoruba delicacy called "Efo riro" in her apartment when the landlord showed up at her doorstep.
According to her, she thought the landlord wanted to share in the meal but was taken aback when he complained about the aroma.
The landlord reportedly said the smell of fish affects him and his daughter as they both suffer from migraine.
He then gave her 30-days notice to leave his house because they can't cope with the aroma of her food.
