The two best strikers in the Premier League right now go head-to-head in a mouth-watering clash on Thursday.
Erling Haaland and Harry Kane have scored 36 league goals between them this season - and we're only halfway through the campaign.
Haaland is the man Pep Guardiola brought in to replace Sergio Aguero and what a signing he's been.
But before the 22-year-old's arrival in the summer, the Spanish manager was keen to bring in Tottenham striker and England captain Kane - and this Thursday the pair will face off for the first time ever, exclusively live on talkSPORT.
After Guardiola confessed to fearing he would never be able to replace Aguero, Man City missed out on signing Kane in the summer of 2021.
Despite telling Spurs he wanted out and not reporting to preseason training, the move fell through after Man City were unable to reach Spurs chairman Daniel Levy's requested fee of £160million.
In an interview with VG in 2020, Haaland could only name seven centre-forwards better than him - and the England captain was on that list.
And Kane is equally complimentary of his Man City counterpart, saying in September: "Everyone's talking about Haaland because he's had an incredible start to the season, so rightly so."
Recruiting Haaland by paying off his £51million release clause from Borussia Dortmund in the summer certainly proved to be a much easier task for Man City than bargaining with Levy - but that hasn't stopped pundits saying they should've signed Kane instead.
Meanwhile, Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters told talkSPORT the two 'cannot be prepared'. But what do the strikers' stats say ahead of their first ever meeting? talkSPORT.com takes a look...
