Veteran British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has demanded Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag to apologise to Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo for disrespecting him.
Morgan told Ten Hag to go down on his knees and apologise to Ronaldo for disrespecting the 37-year-old during his time at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo rudely left Man United last November after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with the Premier League giants.
The Portugal captain sat down with Morgan ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and gave a scornful assessment of his time playing under Ten Hag.
Ronaldo, who refused to come on as a late substitute against Tottenham this season, claimed to have been disrespected by the former Ajax manager.
However, when asked if he would apologise to Ten Hag for comments he has made about the Dutchman's handling of Ronaldo if Man United have a successful season,
Morgan responded to talkSPORT: "Absolutely not. I expect Ten Hag to get down on bended knees and apologise to Cristiano Ronaldo for the shocking disrespect he has shown him."
