Al-Nassr posted a video of their new centre-forward arriving in the club's city, Riyadh, showing Ronaldo stepping out of a private jet with his family in tow.

The ex-Manchester United star and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez, were then greeted with flowers from a young fan in the club's yellow and blue shirt with 'Ronaldo' on the back, before getting in a car to head to his medical.

Reposting the montage to his own Instagram story, the Portuguese icon wrote: "Hi Riyadh"

Next, the star uploaded a snap of him waving at fans as he drove to his new club.

"Thank you Riyadh for the warm welcome!" he wrote. "Look forward to seeing you at the stadium tonight."

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner then posted a picture of him undergoing his medical, showing off his ripped physique and smiling at the camera whilst putting both his thumbs up.

"Medical done!" he wrote, alongside a strong arm emoji.

Al-Nassr are expected to hold a grand unveiling of their new big money signing at Mrsool Park on Tuesday.

The 37-year-old could make his return to the pitch on Thursday, January 5 when his new side face Al-Ta'ee at home, although there has been no official confirmation of his debut date.

Should Ronaldo not be deemed fit enough to feature versus Al Ta'ee, then his home debut will have to wait until January 21 against Ettifaq.

The Portugal star last played in his country's World Cup 2022 quarter-final clash against Morocco.

The ex-Real Madrid centre-forward has been without a club since before Qatar 2022 began, after his Man United contract was terminated following his explosive interview with TalkTV.
