Nigerian exotic dancer, Jane Mena has disclosed how she handled trolls constantly asking when she would get pregnant after her wedding in 2019.
Jane made this disclosure while reacting to a video of actress, Toyin Abraham, opening up about the insensitive comments she received after she had a miscarriage.
Toyin said she was trolled online and advised to lose weight because they claimed she was looking older than her husband, unknown to them that she had just lost a pregnancy. She however stated that she has gotten used to the negativity.
Responding to the video, Jane Mena shared the measure she took to protect her mental health after she got married to her husband, Plies, back in 2019.
She said she blacklisted some words relating to pregnancy and children from her comments so she wouldn't see such comments.
Jane, who recently welcomed her first child, wrote,
"One faithful day. I just opened my Instagram, went to settings and straight to hidden words and wrote a lot of things that when you type, only you will see them by yourself and will be flagged on my comment section.
What were those words/sentences!?.

All these were in my hidden words and a lot more I can't even write here lol. I had to delete them after birth and added a new set of words.
You see that part where she said "I'm already used to it, it takes one seeing so much negativity on a platform to get you there".
Everyone is so "used" to it.

In a follow-up comment, she said she intentionally decided to wait for two years before welcoming a child with her husband.
"Omo! It wasn't funny o. I said I will give myself 2years in marriage before popping out kids and the next thing l'm seeing comments from the day of the marriage sef. I'm like how can something so private be such a public topic.. A lot of persons don't know about this "hidden words" on Instagram but it's a relief and 90% helped a lot because left to me I don't even open comment section of any blog at all when I see my pictures .it's a lifestyle"
