Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has provided the latest update on Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets' possible next move.
According to Romano, Busquets is attracting interest from MLS club Inter Miami as his current contract with Barcelona expires at the end of the season.
He also said Busquets remains an integral part of Barcelona under manager Xavi Hernandez.
However, Busquets is looking to call it time on his career at Camp Nou due to his age.
The veteran midfielder has made 16 appearances for Xavi's men so far this season. The 34-year-old has started 15 of those games.
Amid rumours of a move away from Barca next summer, Romano provided an update on Busquets' future.
He said (via CaughtOffside), "Xavi is very happy with Sergio Busquets. He is convinced he can do very well for the club for one more season, but it also depends on Busquets. A decision will be made in 2023 and not now.
"There is a chance for him to continue for one more year as Xavi will push for that, but Busquets also has proposals from MLS."
