Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has slammed the club for sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer too early.
In the latest clip of his interview with Piers Morgan, released on Wednesday, the 37-year-old said it would always be hard to replace Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo went on to hail Solskjaer as "a top person".
He said: "I love Solskjaer. I think he was a top person, because what I keep inside my heart, it's the heart of the persons. And Ole for me, is a top person.
"It's hard to assume [the role] after Sir Alex Ferguson, but I think he did a good job for sure.
"You need much more time. I never doubt that [he is] going to be a good coach in the future."
United sacked Solskjaer in December 2021.
The Norwegian was fired despite signing a new three-year deal in July 2021.
He left after overseeing five defeats in seven Premier League matches.
