Cristiano Ronaldo has slammed the current state of Manchester United, saying that the club he loves so much are now someway adrift of Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as current table toppers Arsenal.
Ronaldo went further to suggest that he has been made a 'black sheep' and is being blamed for everything that has gone wrong at the Theatre of Dreams.
The 37-year-old Portugal international said in an interview with veteran journalist, Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo has missed Manchester United's last two games with his manager coming up to say that the Portuguese is ill.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus forward said the purpose of the interview was to allow fans of the club know the truth about what is going on at the club.
"You have some things inside that don't help [us] reach the top level as City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal... a club with this dimension should be top of the tree in my opinion and they are not unfortunately," he said.
The Portuguese expressed his love for the club and the fans saying "they're always on my side"
He insisted Manchester United must "do it differently... they have to change many, many things."
