Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane, has reacted to Liverpool's Premier League 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Mane, who left Liverpool to join Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window, said he was happy that Jurgen Klopp's side defeated Man City at Anfield.
Liverpool defeated Pep Guardiola's side following Mohamed Salah's second-half goal.
Reacting, Mane told BILD,
"I'm very happy for the boys that they beat City.
"I couldn't watch because we were on the bus.
"I have a lot of faith in the boys and the coach that they will get back to the top!"
Mane spent six years with Liverpool, scoring 120 goals and registering 48 assists in 269 appearances for the English club.
