Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez, has explained why his team lost 3-1 in Sunday's LaLiga El Clasico against Real Madrid.
Xavi said that Carlo Ancelotti's side dominated Barcelona, adding that his team played against a more mature side that knew how to take advantage of moments.
Xavi's men were defeated by Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu following goals from Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Rodrygo.
Ferran Torres did score for Barcelona against Real Madrid.
Speaking after the match, Xavi said as quoted by Diario AS,
"We didn't deserve to lose.
"In the first half we weren't bad, but in the second half they dominated us. With the changes, we were more aggressive. We have to change the mentality and the dynamic because in order to compete in these matches, you've to be more aggressive."
"We have to compete better. We were against a more mature team that knew how to take advantage of our moments. We're in a bad dynamic and we've to change it."
