Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka, apologized to his teammates during half-time of their 3-1 win over Tottenham on Saturday.
Xhaka scored his side's third goal as they won the North London Derby to retain the top spot.
But according to the Mail, the Switzerland international apologised for his role in Tottenham's equaliser, which was scored by Harry Kane against the run of play, after he failed to clear his lines.
It was centre-half Gabriel Magalhaes whose lunge on Richarlison resulted in the spot kick, yet Xhaka took the blame for his part in the build-up to the penalty.
Xhaka would later atone for his error after slotting home once Spurs had gone down to ten men.
