Algeria come from behind to defeat Super Eagles 2-1 in friendly match

Algeria came from one goal down to defeat Nigeria in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

Only four days ago, a B-side of the Desert Warriors held the Super Eagles to a 2-2 draw,

In their second meeting, Terem Moffi gave Jose Peseiro's men the lead in the first half.

However, both sides went in level at the break, after Riyad Mahrez converted a penalty before the half-time whistle.

Youcef Atal grabbed the winner for Algeria with a sublime strike from over 30 yards in the 61st minute.

This will be the last international matches before the 2022 World Cup.
