Antony's debut goal for Manchester United against Arsenal saw a new celebration for Old Trafford, which he has revealed is a tiger stance, although he was not so clear on the meaning.
The Brazil international got his Red Devils career underway in style on Sunday, scoring the first goal of the game as United beat Arsenal 3-1.
The new arrival from Ajax celebrated passionately in front of his adoring fans, pulling at his own shirt and pointing to the Manchester United badge.
He then produced something of a feline pose, making his fingers look like claws as he faced the crowd.
The 22-year-old says it is something his friends will understand, which leaves an air of mystery about why he was doing the celebration, but he did confirm that he was doing his best tiger impression.
'It's a friends thing,' he told MUTV. 'So when I score a goal, my friends know what it is, it's a tiger. They know and that's how I celebrate.'
Antony was thrown straight into the starting XI by Erik ten Hag, a decision which clearly paid off and an experience that lived up to the winger's lofty expectations.
'Marcus [Rashford] passed the ball to perfection so when it came [to me], there was not much more I had to do. I saw the goalkeeper and the ball just came perfectly to me to place it as I did. I was very happy to just go with my instinct,' he said.
'To score my first goal and share this moment with the crowd, with a great atmosphere, was brilliant.
'From the moment I stepped on to the pitch, I already had goosebumps because I know how much I wanted to be here and I know how much the crowd wanted this.
'When I saw the ball going in, and the net shaking, I express all my feelings the way I did. Yes, it gave me goosebumps for sure.'
