Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba's hopes of playing in the World Cup are now in serious doubt.
The France international is set to undergo knee surgery, according to football expert, Fabrizio Romano.
Juventus staff have decided the midfielder needs surgery on his meniscus in his right knee, according to the report.
Pogba, who left Manchester United for Juventus this summer, was part of the France side that won the World Cup in Russia.
But with the finals in Qatar to kick off on November 20, Pogba's hopes of playing for Les Bleus are in jeopardy.
"Bad news for Paul Pogba. He will undergo surgery on the meniscus in his right knee - Juventus staff have decided together with Paul today," Romano said.
