Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has described Casemiro's departure from Los Blancos to Manchester United as a shame.
Modric admitted that he was sad to see Casemiro depart Real Madrid for Man United, adding that the LaLiga champions will miss him.
Casemiro officially left Real Madrid to join the Premier League giants on Friday.
The Brazilian international, who played alongside Modric and Toni Kroos at Real Madrid, forming a strong midfield triangle, signed a four-year deal with the option of an additional year with Man United.
Speaking to DAZN after Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 4-1 in a LaLiga tie on Saturday night, Modric lamented Casemiro's exit.
"The Casemiro thing is a shame, we have made history with him, he has been a fundamental piece for us and we are going to miss him a lot, as a player and a person.
"This is part of football, I am sad to see him go, but we have to keep going without him and each player has to give even more in terms of the things he did," Modric said.
