Former CNN host, Piers Morgan, has urged Elon Musk to buy Arsenal instead of Manchester United.
This follows Musk's joke about taking over the Old Trafford outfit on Tuesday.
The billionaire businessman had tweeted about buying United, before he later clarified that it was part of a long-running joke linking him with a number of sports clubs.
However, Morgan, who is an Arsenal fan responded to Musk's initial claim by asking the SpaceX man to come in for the Gunners, currently owned by Stan Kroenke.
Morgan wrote: "Trust me on this, Elon - you don't want to go anywhere near them... if you want to buy a football team, try @Arsenal."
Arsenal and United have enjoyed different starts to the Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta's men have won their first two fixtures, while Erik ten Hag is yet to record a single win in a competitive game in charge of the Red Devils.
