Arsenal midfielder, Martin Odegaard has revealed that striker, Erling Haaland laughed when he tried to convince him to move to the Emirates before he signed with Manchester City.
Odegaard and Haaland are international teammates with the Norway international.
Haaland recently joined Man City from Dortmund this summer.
"We speak every day, we've a group on Snapchat with some of the guys in the national team. He's a great guy, a great player," Odegaard told FourFourTwo.
"Unfortunately for us, he'll be a great player for them and score some goals! I wish him all the best... except for when we play them."
Speaking about trying to lure Haaland to Man City, Odegaard added:
"Yeah, I tried!
"When Arsenal fans were posting pictures of him and me in the shirt, I sent it to him, you know? I was working, but unfortunately, it was not enough! He just laughed. He's a funny guy."
