Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is intent on staying at Barcelona after receiving an approach from Chelsea, according to reports in Spain.
Chelsea have already bolstered their attack with the arrival of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City but are also looking to sign a new striker before the end of the summer window following Romelu Lukaku's return to Inter.
Aubameyang, meanwhile, joined Barca in February but the arrival of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich has raised questions about the striker's future at Camp Nou.
Barcelona are also looking to trim their wage bill by removing some of the high earners in their squad and the club are already looking to offload Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay.
Chelsea have now made an approach to Aubameyang's entourage to discuss a potential move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
But according to Mundo Deportivo, Aubameyang wants to remain at Barcelona and has no intention of leaving Camp Nou so soon after arriving.
The report also claims that Aubameyang does not feel threatened by Barca's decision to sign Lewandowski, while Xavi also wants the former Arsenal captain to stay at the club.
A source close to Aubameyang told the Spanish newspaper: 'Auba is very happy at Barca and he's not thinking about leaving.'
Aubameyang's current contract with Barcelona runs until 2025 but there is an exit option which allows him to leave next year.
