Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Presnel Kimpembe prefers a move to Chelsea ahead of Juventus, according to reports in France.
Chelsea are on the verge of signing Kalidou Koulibaly after agreeing a €40 million (£33.8m) fee with Napoli but Thomas Tuchel wants to add another central defender to his squad before the end of the window.
Chelsea are now in talks with PSG over a deal for Kimpembe and it's understood that the French champions are willing to sell the 26-year-old.
Chelsea also face competition from Juventus as the Italian side have have made an approach this summer.
But according to FootMercato, Kimpembe's preference is to join Chelsea instead of Juventus.
The report claims that PSG are holding out for a €50m (£42.3m) fee for the France international.
Speaking during Chelsea's pre-season training camp in Los Angeles, Tuchel made it clear that strengthening his defence is the main focus.
'The priority right now is defence, it's not a secret. From there we need to see what's possible,' Tuchel said.
