The outbreak of swarm birds and locusts in three Northern states has been confirmed by the Federal Government.
The swarm birds and locusts are said to be destroying farm produce in three northern states.
Chief veterinary officer of the federation, Dr. Maimuna Habibu told newsmen that the reported cases of locust invasion were particularly recorded in Zamfara and Kebbi states.
She disclosed that they've deployed officers to begin aerial attacks against the locusts in the affected states.
