Barcelona defender, Ronald Araujo, has slammed his team's UEFA Europa League (UEL) defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt as a "shame."
Araujo also said he was surprised to see many Frankfurt fans at Camp Nou during Barcelona's Europa League quarter-final second leg tie on Thursday night.
Barcelona lost 3-2 against Frankfurt at home and was eliminated from the Europa League on a 4-3 aggregate, having played a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Germany last week.
However, in the second leg encounter last night, the Bundesliga side were up 3-0 by the 67th minute, thanks to goals from Filip Kostic (2) and Rafael Maury.
Barca then pulled two goals back in stoppage time but could not find that all-important equalizer on the night as they crashed out of the tournament.
Speaking after the game, Araujo told Barca TV: "It's a shame to lose this match. I think we played a good game, despite the result. It's a shame, we had three mistakes and they punished us with three goals."
Araujo added, "I was surprised that there were so many Frankfurt fans here, in our stadium... The club will have to see what happened."
