
A young Nigerian man living in the UK has taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter to narrate how his age hindered him from securing a job in Nigeria, despite being a first class graduate.

According to the young man, identified as Taofik, he had gotten his degree at the age of 28 and had repeatedly found it difficult to secure a job in Nigeria.
In his words:
"At 28, finished first class, BSc in Finance from Unilag but couldn't qualify for a grad role in Nigeria due to age factors. At 32, Now working at Bloomberg London office as a sales analyst covering Europe and US corporates. If Nigeria doesn't value you another country will."
