Champions League: Casemiro criticizes Real Madrid stars after defeat to PSG

Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro, has criticized Carlo Ancelotti's men following their Champions League round of 16 first-leg 1-0 loss against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Casemiro said Real Madrid players lacked the killer ball to break out on the counter against PSG, adding that the team that scores goals is the team that wins games.

Speaking after the game, Casemiro was quoted by Real Madrid's official website as saying: "We knew this was a tough place to come, they pile the pressure on and they have real quality.

"The team worked hard and dug in, Thibaut saved a penalty, but that is football. We have to get a goal in the second leg, football is about goals. We held out well but we lacked that killer ball to break out on the counter and the team that scores goals is the team that wins games".

He added, "We have a good squad and whoever plays, I'm sure he'll give it his best. We would ask the fans to get behind us from now. This is our competition and the Bernabéu is our home. We want to feel the fans with us."

Meanwhile, Casemiro will not feature in the second leg in Spain.

The Brazilian international was shown a yellow card in the first leg and will be suspended for the second leg on March 9 for collecting three yellows in the competition
