Another Manchester United player, Dillon Hoogewerf, has left Old Trafford after the departure of Donny van de Beek on Monday.

Man United confirmed this in a statement via their website on Tuesday that Hoogewerf left the club to join Borussia Monchengladbach.

Hoogewerf's move to the Bundesliga side was a permanent transfer.

"Manchester United Academy forward Dillon Hoogewerf has completed a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach," Man United's statement read.

"The Dutchman's permanent move has now received international clearance.

"Everybody at Manchester United would like to wish Dillon well for the future."

Hoogewerf joined Man United in 2019 and began his scholarship with the club after leaving Ajax in his homeland.

The 18-year-old featured 16 times across games in Premier League 2, the UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy this season, scoring twice for Man United.
