At least, six teams have qualified for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final stage.
Senegal and Morocco became the latest countries to qualify for the AFCON last-8 on Tuesday.
Senegal had defeated Cape Verde 2-0 in the AFCON round of 16 tie on Tuesday evening, while Morocco defeated Malawi 2-1.
Meanwhile, Tunisia, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Gambia have since qualified for the AFCON last-8.
Tunisia will take on Burkina Faso in the AFCON quarter-final stage.
Recall that Tunisia had defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria 1-0 in the AFCON Round of 16 tie on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Cameroon will face Gambia in the AFCON last-8.
The host nation had defeated Comoros 2-1 on Monday, while Gambia defeated Guinea 1-0.
However, the remaining AFCON round of 16 fixtures will be played on Wednesday.
Ivory Coast will clash with Egypt on Wednesday, while Mali will take on Equatorial Guinea.
The AFCON quarter-final stage will begin this weekend.
