Interim coach of the Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen, has exposed his side's major problem at the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Eguavoen explained that his team has created so many scoring chances at the 2021 AFCON but converting them to goals has been a major headache.
He admitted that his biggest worry was the Super Eagles' conversion rate at the AFCON, adding that his team is working on it.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, ahead of Nigeria's final Group D fixture against Guinea-Bissau on Wednesday night, Eguavoen said, "We create so many scoring chances, but converting them to goals has been a major headache.
"We are working on that and we are sure to get it right this time around."
Eguavoen's men have already qualified for the 2021 AFCON round of 16 after defeating Egypt and Sudan.
