Manchester City attacker, Ferran Torres has announced his departure and bid farewell to the club's supporters.
The Spaniard also said a goodbye to his teammates and coach Pep Guardiola as he left for Barcelona.
Torres has already signed for the Blaugrana for €55 million plus £10m more in add-ons, just a year and a half after joining City from Valencia.
"My Dear Cityzens, I leave many good friends in Manchester. But I will always carry lots of wonderful memories and experiences in my heart," Torres wrote on Instagram
The Spain international, however, pointed out the fact that COVID-19 pandemic did not allow him to fully enjoy his time at the club and the city of Manchester the way he would have loved to.
He also noted that the club have helped him grow as a football player and At Man City and as a person as well.
"Besides all the great experiences, in winning the Premier League and also the Carabao Cup and of course competing in the final of the Champions League, I take something much more important with me, a really great relationship with you all, the loyal Man City fans," he added.
The winger thanked Guardiola, Ferran Soriano, [City CEO] Txiki [Begiristain], "and [Chief Football Operations Officer] Omar [Berrada] that they gave me this great opportunity to become part of this great team."
