Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku, will leave the club in the near future to return to Serie A at some point in his career.
This claim was made by Lukaku's agent, Federico Pastorello.
Pastorello, who said this ahead of Chelsea's Premier League tie with Leeds United on Saturday evening, insisted that Thomas Tuchel's side should enjoy the Belgium international for now.
DAILY POST reports that Lukaku only returned to the Premier League to join Chelsea from Inter Milan in this year's summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old sealed a £98 million move to the West London club in August after winning the Serie A title with Inter Milan last season under Antonio Conte, who is now the manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
"One day we will see Lukaku back in Serie A because he loves Italy, But now it's time for Chelsea to enjoy Romelu," Pastorello told Tuttosport.
Lukaku moved to Inter Milan in 2019 after struggling at Manchester United.
The forward has always spoken fondly of his time in Serie A, claiming 'technically it improved' him as a player.
