Darren Bent has provided major reasons he believes Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player.
He gave the reasons while slamming Captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his lack of 'hunger and the desire'.
He said these qualities are things that have made Ronaldo a great achiever in the game of football.
Ronaldo scored a brace to down Arsenal on Thursday in a thrilling Premier League game at Old Trafford to clinch his 800th and 801st goals in professional football.
Bent noted that Ronaldo is still firing at the ripe age of 36 and has 338 goals and 80 assists in 377 games since turning 30, a remarkable achievement.
The Portugal international has continued to play at the very highest level with Real Madrid and Juventus before his return to Old Trafford.
And Bent believes the disparity in the work ethics of both players makes for stark contrast.
He told talkSPORT, "When you look at Aubameyang and you look at Ronaldo, one of the biggest differences to me is the hunger and the desire.
"I look at Ronaldo and he is absolutely starving hungry to score goals.
"One's 37," Bent added. "How old is Aubameyang, 33? I understand that
"He's not the greatest because of his hunger, it's because of his ability. You can be hungry to score goals.
"But I look at Aubameyang sometimes and he's not in the box, there's times when he's getting beaten by the defenders.
"Listen, his biggest attribute is his pace. So there are times when Arsenal are struggling in games, what do you have to do?
