Between Daddy Freeze and Pere on the effect of using phones during flight take-off and landing

Popular reality star, Pere Egbi and controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze drops take on the use of smartphones during a plane take-off and landing.

Pere had taken to Twitter to encourage Nigerians to adhere strictly to the instruction of switching off mobile devices during a flights take-off as a precautionary approach.

Daddy Freeze, however, counters the reality star's claim as he boldly affirms the statement is false and that there's 'absolutely nothing' a mobile phone can do to interfere with a flight's equipment.

"Dear Nigerians, rest your minds, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING a mobile phone can do to the equipment of a modern aircraft even if the mobile phone is on a call during landing and taking off. I hereby challenge any pilot to debate this with me. The only reason why you are told to switch off your phones is for security reasons. So someone won't call from the flight and say there's a bomb or the plane is about to crash. Knowledge is power!" the OAP wrote in response.
