Juventus forward, Paulo Dybala, told national teammate Angel Di Maria that he couldn't 'take it anymore' after a leg-breaking tackle made at him by Uruguay defender Joaquin Piquerez during the World Cup qualifying game at the weekend.
Piquerez hit the Juventus attacker's left foot during the game and Dybala, who stayed on the ground for some minutes after the challenge, did not return for the second period of the match.
TyC Sport says that the Argentine star told Di Maria that he would not be able to continue.
"Fideo, [Di Maria's nickname] I can't take it anymore," Dybala said to the PSG star on the pitch, a sentence the cameras picked up.
Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni took the Juve star off during the break and Di Maria later scored the only goal in the match.
The Albiceleste are second in the table, six points behind Brazil ahead of the important game between the arch-rivals on Tuesday.
