Genoa new manager, Andriy Shevchenko, has identified Chelsea's Christian Pulisic as a potential transfer target for the club.
Shevchenko was confirmed as the new head coach of Genoa on the Serie A side last weekend following the sacking of Davide Ballardini.
According to AS, Shevchenko wants to bring Pulisic to Italy and could make a shock move for the US international in the January transfer window.
Pulisic has endured a mixed spell at Chelsea since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
The 23-year-old has won the Champions League at Chelsea but is spending a significant amount of time in the treatment room.
He had played no just one Premier League game this season due to an ankle problem, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount now ahead of him in Thomas Tuchel's pecking order.
Meanwhile, Genoa are currently sitting in the 17th position on the Serie A table, having won just one league game this season.
