Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has broken his silence following his side's Premier League 5-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
Pogba, who was sent off in the second half of the game following a reckless challenge on Naby Keita, insisted it's time to 'wake up' and 'step up' after Man United's defeat to Liverpool.
The France international disclosed this in a post via his Instagram page on Monday.
Recall that Liverpool defeated Man United at Old Trafford, thanks to Mohamed Salah's hat-trick and a goal each from Keita and Diogo Jota.
Reacting to the development, Pogba said, "No time to feel sorry for ourselves.
"Wake up, step up and make the next days better."
Meanwhile, Pogba was blasted by the club's legend Paul Scholes after the defeat.
Scholes suggested that Pogba should never play for Man United again.
"Paul Pogba coming on to the pitch at halftime to try to help the team and maybe get a little bit of respectability about it, tries to stand on the ball, tries to show how strong he is in the middle of the pitch... gives the goal away," Scholes said.
