Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea, has broken his silence following their humiliating defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
De Gea conceded five times as the Red Devils lost 5-0 at Old Trafford.
Mohamed Salah bagged a hat-trick, while Naby Keita and Diogo Jota also got on the scoresheet, as Liverpool climbed back into second place in the Premier League.
De Gea has now taken to social media to apologize to fans and says "we will not accept this performance".
The Spaniard wrote: "I feel the pain of our supporters, you give the team everything and we must do the same.
"I love this club and we will not accept this performance."
United's next two league fixtures are against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
