Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been named the Premier League's Player of the Month for September.
The 36-year-old won the prize ahead of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
Ronaldo scored twice against Newcastle United on his second United debut as they won 4-1 at Old Trafford.
He also found the back of the net against West Ham in a 2-1 victory.
However, Ronaldo was unable to stop United from losing 1-0 at the end of September.
Salah scored in Liverpool's three Premier League matches last month, equalling Ronaldo's tally of three.
Other contenders for the prize might have been Andros Townsend, who scored in Everton wins against Burnley and Norwich; and Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been a leading light for Newcastle despite them failing to win a game.
Ronaldo claimed the Player of the Month prize four times during his first spell with United before leaving for Real Madrid.
